Now Accepting New Board Members!

The We Are All Music Foundation (WAAM) is growing! We are seeking candidates to join the Board of Trustees and support our mission to improve lives and strengthen communities by leveraging the profound impact of music. We are interested in engaging with individuals with the following expertise:

  • Experts in education who have experience in areas such as curriculum development, policy creation, Social Emotional Learning and data and impact analysis. Experience with music education is preferable although not required.
  • Mental and behavioral health professionals who have worked with underserved populations and have an understanding of the challenges faced by these communities.
  • Experience with music’s beneficial impact on mental health, Social Emotional Learning, memory and cognition is preferable although not required.
  • Individuals with legal / governance experience.
  • Donor development and relationship management skills. Individuals who are passionate about cultivating relationships with donors to grow the organization and expand our community of funders.
  • People from diverse backgrounds and experiences, including from the communities most often served by WAAM.

Board members are required to sign a Board Commitment Letter which provides details on individual requirements and responsibilities, attend 75% of all Board meetings throughout the year (held every other month) and utilize their network to support WAAM’s mission and endeavors.
