WAAM is excited to welcome Kim Sabo Flores, PhD, to our next Power of Music Episode! Dr. Kim Sabo Flores is a true leader in the field of SEL (social emotional learning) and Positive Youth Development. Kim’s company, Hello Insight (HI), has become an important solution for understanding the unique impact that our grantees have on students through music and mentorship. HI is the first online data-driven learning community that fosters the development of youth, staff, programs, organizations, and entire fields of practice. This platform was born out of her passion for supporting youth-serving programs of all types, sizes and missions to move the needle on the outcomes that matter most for their youth.Dr. Flores joins Dr. Chad Bernstein, Founder and CEO of Guitars Over Guns (a Power of Music Grant Recipient!), David Zusman (WAAM Co-Founder) and Peter Gerlings (WAAM Head of Research) as they discuss why music and mentorship is a crucial element of healthy emotional and social development in children based on actual research and impact data.
