Mr. Wayne Weddington is a Middle-Market Advisor and private-equity Investor as a Partner in middle-market advisory and merchant banking on behalf of Pennoyer Partners. Prior to Pennoyer Partners, Mr Weddington was a Managing Partner of Brunswick Capital Partners, LP (“Brunswick”), a generalist financial advisory and private equity investment vehicle for family offices. Mr. Weddington advised and transacted direct investments on behalf of the partners’ capital in private and public equity, working directly upon over $500 million in transactions as an industry-agnostic advisor in multiple industries.

Prior to Brunswick, Mr. Weddington was Senior Trader for Caxton Associates LLC, a $15 billion multi-manager hedge fund. Prior to Caxton, Mr. Weddington was a Senior Trader at various other major hedge funds including Jemmco Capital, InterPacific Capital and independently as founder of WIES International Equity.

Mr. Weddington is a published author of a professional memoir titled “Do it Yourself Hedge Funds,” (Hachette Book Group, 2009). It is an accessible guide to small, individual investors to employ hedge fund techniques in their own portfolios. The book reached #8 on Amazon’s Investments/Futures category.

Mr. Weddington earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Baccalaureate of Art from Columbia College in the Biological Sciences. Mr. Weddington is a Contributing Editor to Library for Smart Investors.
