With over 20 years of research and analytical skills from her financial planning career, a lifelong love of learning, and a passion for financial education, Tammy is the CEO of Finlightenment Financial Learning Group, which offers practical, comprehensive, and expert financial education and tools for success without any hidden agenda or investment/insurance sales pitch.  

Prior to launching Finlightenment, and after several years with New England Pension Consultants as Senior Consultant Support Analyst, Tammy spent over 15 years with TIAA as a Senior Financial Consultant, working mostly with universities and research centers in the New England area.  

Tammy is a proud alumni of Boston University with a Masters in Investment Management and Bentley University with a Masters in Financial Planning. She enjoys merging research-driven data with the human experience to understand why people do what they do, and what we can do with this information to make the world a brighter place.
