Samantha Awad is a founding partner of the Piccolo Awad Wealth Management Group at Wells Fargo Advisors, which serves the needs of high net worth families, entrepreneurs and executives. Samantha and the team advise families on how to navigate the complex issues of wealth and serve at the center of their clients’ financial lives. She takes a comprehensive approach to investment and wealth planning with a focus on debt management, estate investment planning, tax management and wealth preservation for future generations.
Samantha began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst in Global Power at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. She transitioned to the financial services industry in 2001 at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.
With the help of her partner, Michael Piccolo, she was able to move her practice to Wells Fargo Advisors in December of 2020. Samantha is a Private Investment Management (PIM) Portfolio Manager. She is part of a select group of advisors who are qualified to manage client portfolios on a discretionary basis. Samantha obtained the Certified Portfolio Manager, CPM ® designation through Columbia University in 2018. She also maintains the CIMA® designation and CPWA® designations. Prior to joining the financial services industry, Samantha earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Michigan.
Samantha and her husband, Andrew, live in Montclair, New Jersey. She is a proud mother of two girls, Brooklyn and Royce. She is a lover of animals and a dog mom to a Doberman, Cleopatra and a cat mom to a Maine Coon, Serena. Samantha is an active alumnus of the University of Michigan and avid football and basketball fan.
