Ryan Zellner, Ph.D., is a visionary nonprofit and educational leader with over 20 years of experience advancing music education worldwide. As CEO of the International Society for Music Education (ISME), he oversees strategic operations, global conferences, and innovative programs across 90+ countries. Under his leadership, ISME has seen a 30% increase in membership and over $1.25 million raised in philanthropic support. Ryan spearheads the Belize STEAM Music Education Project, created the ISME Creator Space to spotlight equity and technology, and has cultivated partnerships with leading institutions and corporations. He previously led large-scale initiatives at the GRAMMY Music Education Coalition, AMP UP NYC, and Little Kids Rock, impacting over half a million students. A passionate advocate for equitable access, Ryan blends strategic planning, curriculum design, fundraising, and data-driven decision-making with a deep commitment to youth empowerment through the arts. He has taught at institutions including Boston University and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, and holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology.
