
Lisa K. Desai, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and organizational consultant with 30 years of clinical and administrative experience working in college counseling, community mental health, hospitals, and private practice. After receiving her doctorate in psychology, Dr. Desai completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in child and adolescent psychotherapy at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Over the course of her career, she has focused on working with adolescents and college students to treat anxiety, depression, eating disorders and relationship issues within a culturally informed, growth-enhancing framework. For several years Dr. Desai worked as a consulting psychologist at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Massachusetts to provide therapy, crisis interventions and guidance in policy and training.
As an organizational consultant, Dr. Desai provides behavioral health training and collaborates with leadership to develop and implement behavioral health solutions for workplaces. She is committed to providing services that encourage conversations about mental health, inclusion, culture, and personal and professional productivity. Dr. Desai is currently the Director of Workplace Suicide Prevention at MindWise Innovations, a service of Riverside Community Care.
