WAAM partnership with Lindeblad Piano Restoration, the largest Steinway restoration facility in the United States.

The We Are All Music (WAAM) Foundation, a central voice for music non-profits that supports causes in the Health & Wellness, Education and Underserved Communities, partnered with Lindeblad Piano Restoration, the largest Steinway restoration facility in the United States.

Lindeblad, a family-owned business which has operated across 4 generations with a combined 300 years of master craftsman experience, generously donated their expertise and over 300 hours in meticulous craftsmanship to restore a rare original 1932 Chippendale Steinway Grand M Piano to its historical accuracy and beauty.

This unique Steinway was generously gifted to WAAM by the Nelson family of Englewood, New Jersey. Comparable modern Chippendale Steinway grand pianos are in limited production and are valued at well over $100,000. The restored Steinway piano was on display at Hudson Yards in New York City from September through December 2021 and was showcased to the community through featured guest performances by notable musicians and representatives from local music nonprofits.

This Rare 1932 Chippendale Steinway Grand M Piano completely restored by Lindeblad Piano Restoration was successfully auctioned during the 2021 holiday season for $40,000. All proceeds benefited the We Are All Music Foundation to support social causes in Education, Health & Wellness and Underserved Communities.
