Most recently, Tres founded The Rights, Inc., a music licensing tech startup acquired by Soundstripe in 2024. As the former Executive Vice President of Business Affairs for iHeartMedia, Tres was instrumental in the launch of iHeartRadio and orchestrated the licensing frameworks that fueled the company's massive growth in podcasting and live events. His career spans legal and strategic roles at Sony BMG, eMusic, and Thumbplay. Today, Tres provides specialized consulting to help companies and creators navigate licensing, deal-making, and industry operations. He holds a JD from Brooklyn Law School and both a BS and BM from Appalachian State University.
