Timothy Newton is a linguist, musician, and peace worker committed to harnessing the power of the arts to inspire change and build community. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Foreign Language Acquisition from the University of Hawai'i and his Master's degree in International Peace Studies from the University for Peace in Costa Rica. A dedicated polyglot, he draws from his travels and intercultural experiences to create inclusive, creative spaces for dialogue and healing. Alongside his work in education and advocacy, he is a devoted yogi and movement coach, bringing mindfulness and balance into his music, teaching, and peacebuilding efforts with WAAM.
